Kulturá is Czech for culture and Káva is Czech for coffee. Dale Hibbert, original bass player for 'The Smiths' and Sveta, Dale's wife, Ukrainian born but for a long time living in Prague, have been running Káva Kafe in Todmorden for two years.

Culture at the Coffee House (Kulturá at Káva) is a monthly poetry, poetry lecture and open mic night organised and hosted by Anthony Costello and Shirley-Anne Kennedy and takes place on the last Thursday of every month. Come and see for yourselves why this night is so beloved and popular.
